What is THC-O?
THC-O, is a chemical twin of THC. What this means is THCO is indeed a cannabinoid, it’s not naturally occurring and can only be manufactured with a series of extractions via contemporary cannabis technology. These series of extractions are required to generate THC-O.

How is THC-O extracted?
The first step is extracting CBD from less than 0.3% THC Hemp, which was made federally legal by the 2018 Farm Bill. The second step is delta-8 THC is then extracted from the CBD. The final step is the organic solvent acetic anhydride is administered to the delta-8 THC molecules, a process that eliminates all terpenes and flavonoids, leaving behind a flavorless, scentless, motor oil-thick THC isolate with high potency.
